AMC Phoenix Raven Course continues strong
Airman Marcus Sanchez, 60th Security Forces Squadron, sweeps the leg out from under his training partner, Airman Austin Seiffert, 87th Security Forces Squadron, to take him down and disarm him during the Phoenix Rave Qualification Course at the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center, Aug. 14, 2020, at JB MDL. The course, which ran from July 27 to Aug, 19, qualifies selected security forces personnel to perform as members of a force protection team assigned to deploy with Department of Defense aircraft to austere environments. Students are trained to perform as teams to detect, deter, and counter threats to personnel/aircraft at deployed locations by performing close-in aircraft security and advising aircrew on force protection measures. In addition, the course prepares students to conduct/report airfield assessments and perform flight deck denial duties on select missions. (U.S. Air Force photo by Maj. George Tobias)
