  • Pacific-based Airmen build international partnerships, show off skills in Port Dawg Rodeo

    Airmen from six squadrons competed for the title of “Top Dawg Team” during a Port Dawg Rodeo hosted Aug. 30 at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH), Hawaii. Each team was joined by members of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force and the Philippine Air Force, making the event a display of international partnership.
  • “Team Osan” comes together to support diverted Patriot Express passengers

    Airmen from the 731st Air Mobility Squadron and the 51st Fighter Wing jumped into action on Aug. 18 when a Patriot Express mission diverted to Osan Air Base, in Korea, due to inclement weather. "Team Osan" worked together to ensure that the 58 passengers and their seven pets received a warm welcome.
  • 733rd AMS Air Force members rescue kayakers

    Recently, Staff Sgt. Kyle Kemble, an asset evaluator, and GS-11 employee Brandon Yoneda, an air terminal operations duty officer, both members of the 733rd Air Mobility Squadron, saved four Japanese locals who found themselves in danger after their kayak flipped over half a mile off the coast of Cape Zanpa on June 13, 2021.
  • Mobility Airmen instrumental in evacuating aircraft to safety ahead of Typhoon In-fa

    Airmen throughout the 515th Air Mobility Operations Group were called to action in July when Typhoon In-fa threatened Kadena Air Base on Okinawa. The Group's air terminals were instrumental in the effort to evacuate aircraft from Kadena to other locations in Asia, including Yokota Air Base near Tokyo.

    The U.S. Expeditionary Center command team recognized the center’s 2020 Annual Awards during the USAF Expeditionary Center Commander’s Rally, April 19.
