Joining, training, deploying: Immigrant Airman comes 'full circle'
Senior Airman Bassel Noori, from the 6th Mission Support Group at MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., stands in front of an ancient structure historically known to be part of Babylon Oct. 12, 2008, an ancient city-state of ancient Mesopotamia, of which is found in present-day Al Hillah, Babil Province, Iraq. Airman Noori is deployed to Ali Air Base, Iraq, which is near the ruins of Babylon. Airman Noori is native to the Middle East and has an Afghani father and a Lebanese mother.
