The U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center, located on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., is the Air Force's Center of Excellence for advanced expeditionary combat support training and education. It consists of the Mobility Operations School, Expeditionary Operations School and the USAF EC Resources Directorate. Through its schools and people, the USAF EC partners with Air Staff, Air Education and Training Command and the U.S. Air Force Warfare Center to provide a disciplined training process that assures the right skills are taught at the right time across the expeditionary enterprise. 421st Combat Training Squadron
This shield is the official shield of the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center's 421st Combat Training Squadron which operates at Fort Dix, N.J. The 421st CTS is a sub-unit of the Center's Expeditionary Operations School and is responsible mainly for expeditionary training. Among their courses are Phoenix Raven, Phoenix Warrior, Advanced Contingency Skills Training, Antiterrorism Level II, Air Force Exercise Eagle Flag, Tactical Security Element Training Course and the Fly Away Security Training Course. The squadron boasts cadre from more than 30 Air Force specialties to conduct its mission.

Air Force Exercise Eagle Flag Shield
This shield is the official shield for Air Force Exercise Eagle Flag. Eagle Flag is the Air Force's only Air Force chief of staff flag-level exercise that tests and trains Airmen in expeditionary combat support skills. The exercise is operated by the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center's Expeditionary Operations School and the 421st Combat Training Squadron.
