Michael Vyn, USAF EOS Detachment 2 commander, cases the USAF EOS Det. 2 guidon during a inactivation ceremony at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, April 14, 2021. Consolidated into the 435th Training Squadron, USAF EOS Det. 2 provided unique, world‐class, standardized training to all personnel assigned to the 618th Air Operations Center, educating planners, executors, and resource providers on the Air Mobility Command’s air mobility mission execution processes and systems. Gabriel Rosario, Non-commissioned Officer in Charge of the Phoenix Raven Qualification Course, 421st Combat Training Squadron, provides an overview of the Phoenix Raven Qualification Course to Lt. Gen. Brad Webb, commander of Air Education and Training Command, during his visit to the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey on Sept. 18, 2020. Implemented in February 1997 and launched at the then Air Mobility Warfare Center, at Fort Dix, the Phoenix Raven Program ensures protection for Air Mobility Command aircraft operating out of airfields where security is unknown or inadequate. Teams of specially trained and equipped security forces personnel, known as Ravens deploy onboard AMC aircraft. Webb and Chief Master Sgt. USAF EC hosts Virtual Conference on MCA Expeditionary Skills Training Program
Members of the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center host a virtual instructional system development conference with more than 40 participants across multiple U.S. Air Force major commands, July 16, 2020, at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. The purpose of the conference was to start the development of a training program based on the multi-capable Airmen training syllabus for agile combat employment, which was approved in January. The commands that took part in the virtual instructional system development conference included U.S. Air Forces in Europe-Air Forces Africa, Air Combat Command, Air Mobility Command, Pacific Air Forces, Air Education and Training Command, National Guard Bureau, Air Force Reserve Command, Air Force Global Strike Command, Air Force Flight Standards Agency, and Headquarters Air Force.
