The USAF EOS inactivates Dets 1 & 2, stands up newest squadron, the 435th TRS

Kenneth Arteaga, U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Operations School director, and U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Michael Vyn, USAF EOS Detachment 2 commander, cases the USAF EOS Det. 2 guidon during a inactivation ceremony at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, April 14, 2021. Consolidated into the 435th Training Squadron, USAF EOS Det. 2 provided unique, world‐class, standardized training to all personnel assigned to the 618th Air Operations Center, educating planners, executors, and resource providers on the Air Mobility Command’s air mobility mission execution processes and systems.
