Senior Master Sgt. Christopher Wright received the Bronze Star Medal Nov. 21, 2017 during a ceremony at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. Wright deployed as the contingency response security forces superintendent supporting Operation Inherent Resolve in Northern from November 2016 to February 2017. Immediately upon arrival, Wright rapidly posted his 26-member team to key overwatch positions and established a defensive perimeter around the camp, providing the first line of defense for over 100 U.S. personnel.
