CRW Airmen stationed at Travis AFB return from deployment

An Airman with the 621st Contingency Response Wing is welcomed home by his family at Travis Air Force Base, Calif., upon completing a four-month deployment in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, March 7, 2017. The 621st CRW—America’s only CRW—is a unique, bi-coastal unit whose forces are primarily stationed at both Travis AFB and Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. The 621st CRW consists of approximately 1,500 Airmen assigned to three groups, 11 squadrons and more than 20 geographically-separated operating locations aligned with major Army and Marine Corps combat units.
