A C-130 Aircraft from the 19th Airlift Wing at Little Rock AFB, AR., lands Red Devil Landing Zone, Colo, during Exercise Cerberus Strike, on September 14, 2015. Over 25 C-130 Aircraft moved passengers and cargo from Peterson, Gunnison, and Red Devil during 12 hour operations. Approximately 150 Airmen from the 821st Contingency Response Group at Travis Air Force Base, Calif., participated in a first-of-its-kind Joint contingency response exercise from Sept. 8-19 at five locations (Southern California Logistics Airfield, Calif., Freedom Landing Zone, Calif., Gunnison Region Airfield, Colo., Red Devil Landing Zone, Colo., Peterson Air Force Base, Colo., and Fort Carson, Colo.). During the training, 821st CRG Airmen supported more than 275 Soldiers from Fort Carson, Colo., during air drop missions, helicopter training, coordinated Apache air support, and personnel and equipment airlift training.
