Lt. Col. Thomas Moore, Air Force Medical Support Agency chief of health promotions, and Maj. Marella Big Mountain, from the Profession of Arms Center of Excellence, review Master Resilience Trainer Course information at the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center, Aug. 13. The MRTC, taught at the USAFEC, underwent an Instructional System Design review with credentialed Airmen whose professions align with the Comprehensive Airmen Fitness model of Mental, Physical, Social, and Spiritual domains. Nine Airmen from a range of clinical and strategic leadership backgrounds participated in the five day curriculum review. Participants were from multiple commands and organizations to include: Air Combat Command, Air Education and Training Command, Air Force Medical Service, Air Force Personnel Center, and Air Mobility Command. This revalidated the course material to ensure that the MRTC is delivering the most updated and effective training to students in preparation to be Master Resilience Trainers. The MRTC prepares students to lead the Comprehensive Airman Fitness programs at their bases. This supports the development of Total Force Airmen and their families who are more resilient and better-equipped to deal with the rigors of military and family life.
