Expeditionary Center's 421st CTS participates in NYC's Tunnel to the Towers run

Members of the 29-man team from the 421st Combat Training Squadron, U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center, Fort Dix, N.J., await the start of the Tunnel to Towers 5-kilometer Run/Walk in New York City Sept. 28, 2008. The Tunnel to Towers is a fundraiser in tribute to Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter who gave his life on Sept. 11, 2001. Siller ran from his vehicle in full firefighter gear from the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the World Trade Center when he heard of the disaster over his scanner. Siller had just come off duty and was headed for a round of golf. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Paul R. Evans)
