A flag is posted for each fallen U.S. servicemember from Operation Iraqi Freedom at a flag memorial in Cherry Hill, N.J., built by resident Michael Bloom. The memorial, vandalized in April 2008, was repaired by Airmen volunteers from the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center at Fort Dix, N.J., May 28, 2008. The memorial has more than 4,000 American flags and is again a landmark in this New Jersey city. (U.S. Air Force Photo/Staff Sgt. Paul R. Evans)
