McGuire boom operator refuels father's plane during 'fini-flight'

Staff Sgt. Kenneth Essick, boom operator for the 2nd Air Refueling Squadron on McGuire Air Force Base, N.J., goes through a pre-flight operations check in the boom pod of a KC-10 Extender on April 9, 2009, prior to an air refueling mission. On that mission, Sergeant Essick refueled his father's E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System aircraft from the 116th Air Control Wing of Robins AFB, Ga. His father, Chief Master Sgt.
