An E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System aircraft is refueled by a KC-10 Extender from McGuire Air Force Base, N.J., on April 9, 2009, somewhere over the southeastern United States.  The mission was special for Staff Sgt. Kenneth Essick, boom operator for the 2nd Air Refueling Squadron on McGuire, because he refueled his father's E-8C from the 116th Air Control Wing of Robins AFB, Ga.  His father, Chief Master Sgt.
