McGuire boom operator refuels father's plane during 'fini-flight'

An E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System aircraft is moving into position to be refueled by a KC-10 Extender from McGuire Air Force Base, N.J., on April 9, 2009, somewhere over the southeastern United States. The mission was special for Staff Sgt. Kenneth Essick, boom operator for the 2nd Air Refueling Squadron on McGuire, because he refueled his father's E-8C from the 116th Air Control Wing of Robins AFB, Ga. His father, Chief Master Sgt. Randal Money, was on his final flight as a flight engineer for the E-8C. (U.S. Air Force Photo/Tech. Sgt. Scott T. Sturkol)
