821 CRG, RRAST Hurricane Irma relief efforts
Airmen load cargo onto a C-17 Globemaster III aircraft in preparation for Hurricane Irma relief efforts, Sep. 11, 2017, at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. Cargo is being loaded onto the aircraft in preparation for Contingency Response Teams and Rapid Response Aeromedical Staging Teams to facilitate medical air evacuation of patients in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. MARSOC AMLO Streamlines Deployment Process
U.S. Air Force Maj. Robert Riggs, U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Special Operations Command air mobility liaison officer (AMLO), assists in loading cargo aboard a C-17 aircraft at MCAS Cherry Point. As MARSOC’s AMLO, Riggs provides a critical link of communication between the airlift and ground forces in the area of operations.
