Expeditionary Center history: Family members recall the man behind the award -- Reynolds A. Kuntzman
This is a photo of a photo showing then-Airman Basic Reynolds A. Kuntzman after he graduated from Air Force basic training in 1979. His career spanned nearly 16 years when he died on June 9, 1995, as Tech. Sgt. Kuntzman, while assigned to the Air Mobility Warfare Center with the 421st Ground Combat Readiness Squadron. After his death, the center's leadership created the Reynolds A. Kuntzman Duty performance award given annually to an Airman in the grades of E-1 through E-6 recognizing superior duty performance in support of the center's mission and community.
