During the Combat Airman Skills Training Course 10-1A at the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center here from Nov. 2 to 13, students in the course learned ways to care for their fellow Airmen while facing fire from "opposing forces."

Called "care under fire," the training is in line with what was formerly known as combat first aid.  During this block of training in the course, students learn about first aid response in a combat situation.

In these photos, students are shown in the classroom and the field.
