The USAF Expeditionary Center at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst doubled down on its Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) this year, surpassing their contribution goal by 220%. This is no small achievement for the big hearted Expeditionary Center. In fact, when you go pound for pound the Center packs a big punch with less than 300 personnel contributing more than 10% of the total Joint Base contributions to-date.

So you might ask, why so much from so few? The answer is easy; engaged key workers who are committed to helping each contributor find exactly the right individual charitable organization that strikes close to home. With over 2,500 different charitable organizations to choose from, it's easy for everyone to find a cause that is individually meaningful and one that they can be proud to support with the full knowledge their contribution will ultimately make a difference in someone's life.

The hard work comes down to key workers who contacted each person and explained the charitable goals of the different organizations. This takes time, dedication, and many hours talking to individuals about the importance of giving back to the community, and emphasizing the personal satisfaction that comes as one of the rewards for donation to the CFC.

Although the Expeditionary Center has more than doubled its contributions from last year, they are still not finished yet. There is still one more week to make a difference, and the Expeditionary Center's key workers will continue to solicit contributions until the final day of the CFC on 30 November. If you would like to give to the CFC, please contact your unit representative. Remember, every donation can make a difference for a cause that you support.
