Civic leaders visit the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center

JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, N.J. -- Civic leaders from Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, visited the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center, May 21, 2019, at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey.

During their visit, they were given the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center mission brief to gain a better understanding of how the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center plays a role in the Air Force mission. Instructors from the 421st Combat Training Squadron demonstrated the Mine-Resistant, Ambush-Protected Egress Trainer (MET). The MET is part of the Fieldcraft Hostile course taught to Airmen from all around the Air Force who are tasked to deploy.
