Lt. Col. Jason Kalin, Chief of 21R Force Development from AF/A4L, visited the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Operations School, today.

In his current role, Kalin is the Installation Deployment Officer Course owner, so he visits classes often to interact with and mentor students. He participated in the delivery of the IDOC curriculum, taught by the 423d Mobility Training Squadron, by acting as the Commander for students as they delivered their "Wing Concept Briefing" on the final day of class. The objective of IDOC is to develop an IDO's critical thinking skills in their roles and responsibilities, pre-deployment, execution, reception and redeployment processes.

On this visit Kalin also held a Force development discussion with more than 30 Logistics Readiness Officers and instructors from Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. His presentation focused on LRO manning, career progression, education, training and their overall force development.
