627th Air Base Group

627th Air Base Group provides mission essential support and services to units and military community to enabling commanders to build and maintain an operationally ready and resilient force. 

The group supports more than 350 units and an installation population of 44,209  active and reserve military, 56,635 family members, 16,437 civilian and contract employees, and 138,406 retiree family members within 414,000 acres on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. JBLM is the premier Joint Power Projection Platform & Mobilization Force Generation Installation. Ready today and postured for future missions while remaining a Resilient Community Partner in the South Sound. It has the ability to house, feed, train, mobilize and rapidly deploy units.

The group’s subordinate organizations:

* 627th Civil Engineer Squadron: Organize, train, and equip mission-ready Airmen to provide Expeditionary Combat Support for military operations worldwide. Only Air Force CES imbedded into Army Directorate of Public Works.

* 627th Communication Squadron: Deliver evolving globally assured cyber capabilities for joint warfighter while developing and empowering innovating Airmen.

* 627th Force Support Squadron: Prepare and Sustain the Joint Base to be able to achieve mission success worldwide.

* 627th Logistics Readiness Squadron: Identify, capture, and focus expert logistics to enable and sustain America’s Joint Warfighters.

* 627th Security Forces Squadron: Provide integrated defense and support rapid global mobility to protect joint base assets and operations.
