Chief Master Sergeant JAKE A. FASON

Chief Master Sergeant Jake Fason is the Senior Enlisted Leader, 354th Operations Group, 354th Fighter Wing, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. CMSgt Fason is the chief enlisted manager and principal advisor to the Commander on all training, employment, assignment, and advancement of assigned personnel across six squadrons and one geographically separated detachment. He manages enlisted career development and professional growth while ensuring readiness and mission effectiveness of a 19 million square foot airfield in the American arctic, the execution of Exercise RED FLAG-Alaska, employment of Pacific Air Forces’ F-16 Aggressor enterprise in support of joint and coalition aerial warfare training, homeland defense fighter alert and combat ready F-35 forces supporting Combatant Commanders worldwide.

CMSgt Fason is from Philipsburg, MT, enlisted in the Air Force in 2000 and later graduated from the Aerospace Ground Equipment Apprentice course. In 2005 he retrained into the Helicopter Flight Engineer career field which later merged into what is now the Special Missions Aviator career field where he operated as an Evaluator Special Missions Aviator on the HH-60G Pavehawk and instructed at the USAF Weapons School. He has served in many operations in addition to deployments in support of Operations Northern Watch, Noble Eagle, and Enduring Freedom with assignments in Texas, Utah, South Korea, Japan, Nevada and Virginia.

Prior to this assignment, he served as the Senior Enlisted Leader, 353d Special Operations Support Squadron, Kadena Air Base, Japan.
