Chief Master Sergeant JAKE A. FASON

CMSgt Jake A. Fason is the Command Chief at 515th Air Mobility Operations Wing, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. The 515 AMOW provides forward deployed command and control, aerial port operations and aircraft maintenance support to Department of Defense organic and contracted commercial aircraft executing airlift, air refueling and aeromedical evacuation missions throughout the Indo-Pacific theater. He serves as the Senior Enlisted Advisor responsible to the Commander of approximately 1,600 U.S. military, civilian and local national personnel assigned from two Air Mobility Operations Groups, six geographically separated squadrons, three detachments, six operating locations, and eleven air terminals spanning from Alaska to Diego Garcia.

CMSgt Fason is from Philipsburg, MT, enlisted in the Air Force in 2000 as an Aerospace Ground Equipment mechanic. He later retrained into the Career Enlisted Aviator career field where he operated as a Special Missions Aviator on the HH-60G Pavehawk and instructed at the USAF Weapons School. He has served in many operations around the world in addition to deployments in support of Operations Northern Watch, Noble Eagle and Enduring Freedom, with assignments in Texas, Utah, South Korea, Japan, Nevada, Virginia and Alaska. Prior to his current position, the CMSgt was the Senior Enlisted Leader, 354th Operations Group, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska.
