CRW, Army conduct sling-load training
A U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter assigned to the 1-150th Assault Helicopter Battalion lifts cargo as another Black Hawk waits for its turn to be hooked up with cargo by Airmen assigned to the 621st Contingency Response Wing during sling-load training at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., April 1, 2015. Sling-load operations are useful particularly in areas where aircraft are too big to land or airfields are not safe for oversized aircraft to operate. They also offer a quicker delivery time for cargo such as food and supplies in an uncertain environment. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Gustavo Gonzalez/RELEASED)
