Mobility Airmen exercise ACE capabilities during Nodal Lightning

A 517th Airlift Squadron loadmaster guides Air Force Staff Sgt. Bryce Marquardt truck onto a C-17 Globemaster III during the Nodal Lightning at Ted Steven International Airport in Anchorage, Alaska on Oct. 19, 2021. The Nodal Lightning exercise allowed the 732nd AMS personnel to respond efficiently and effectively to contested or degraded contingency environments. Marquardt is assigned to the 732nd Air Mobility Squadron as an air terminal operations center supervisor.
